This year, Ulixes EEIG reaches a significant milestone: 30 years of activity and commitment to fostering collaboration and development across Europe through training, research, and innovation. Founded on 21st September 1994, when the internet was just emerging and the concept of a barrier-free Europe was still evolving, Ulixes was ahead of its time, creating a network of cooperation among professionals and organisations from various countries.
To celebrate this momentous anniversary, a special event will take place in Vienna on 14th November 2024, featuring a full day of insightful presentations, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities.
The event, hosted at BBRZ Vienna, will begin at 09:30 and will feature a series of keynote speakers covering a range of forward-looking topics:
- Andy Riepl: “When the matrix becomes your classroom”
- Alex Schmölz: “Digital Competences in Austria: Strengths, Gaps and Policy”
- Ulrike Domany-Funtan (online): DigiComp 2.3
- Anna Tozzi: “Writing a good EU-project”
At 12:00, a panel discussion on the skills of the future will be moderated by Hilde Hoefnagels, with contributions from the keynote speakers.
Those interested in attending can register by emailing gabriele.winkler@bfi-ooe.at no later than 12th November.
Since its inception, Ulixes EEIG has been a model of how international collaboration can transcend national boundaries and enhance expertise in an ever-evolving context. We are proud to celebrate 30 years of achievements and look forward to shaping the future with the same pioneering and collaborative spirit.
